Joan T. Kloth-Zanard grew up in Tenafly, NJ, near New York City, but has lived in Boston MA, Tuscon Az, as well as attended College in PA, NJ and CT.  Through her educational process and marriage, she began studying and researching Parental Alienation Syndrome (PAS) and Hostile Aggressive Parenting (HAP).  Since 1996, Joan has worked as a volunteer for victims of psychological abuse.  During this time she completed her BS in Health and Psychology with a minor in Business and went on to work on her dual Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Counseling.  She is a 30-year veteran of the dance arts, which led to her certification in Exercise Science, Nationally Certification in Massage Therapy and Licensing in Massage Therapy.  Presently, she volunteers running two online support groups for victims of Psychological Abuse such as PAS and HAP.  She has authored and self-published her own book on Parental Alienation called “Where Did I Go Wrong?  How Did I Miss The Signs?  Dealing with Hostile Parenting and Parental Alienation?”  as well as been published in several trade magazines and online sites.  Her work has been referenced by attorneys, therapists/counselors and experts.  She can be reached through the following websites:
